New and trendy, more new and upgfrade features, maybe this will take BlackBerry Torch and iPhone 4G down! Samsung already finish their homework by releasing a new model called Samsung 4G Epic and may enter the market on the middle or end of August this year.
Samsung Epic 4G will feature a 4-inch (480 x 800) AMOLED display compared to BlackBerry Torch 9800's smaller screen of 3.2-inch (480x360) HVGA+ touch-screen. Using a 2.1 android platform, this features can be upgrade to 2.2 android system. The Samsung Hummingbird processor has 1GHz speed with equally capable graphics, especially suitable for online games. BlackBerry Torch 9800 uses Marvell processor with a speed of 624 MHz. Moreover, Samsung Epic 4G will support 3-D graphics with faster upload and download times.
Epic 4G’s uses 1280x720 HD video capture. Beside the other models, Samsung offer the highest rate of HD video capture. This smartphone also offered 802.11b/g/n which is also offered by BlackBerry Torch 9800. About memory, both Samsung and BlackBerry used same size of memory, 512 mb RAM/ 512 mb ROM.
Samsung Epic 4G is lighter then BlackBerry Torch 9800, about 5.46 oz vs 5.68 oz.
