New iPhone in white

Steve Jobs has announced the impending arrival of the coveted white version of the iPhone 4 at a press conference.
The conference was actually called to deal with the growing discontent over the death-grip antenna issues plaguing the device.
Antenna problems or not, the iPhone 4 will be a must-have for the fashion conscious this summer, if you're one of the lucky few to get one.
Demand for the white iPhone is expected to be high but according to Jobs, stock will be very limited.
The iPhone 4 will now come with a free bumper to counter the antenna issues but with aesthetics clearly high on Apple's list of priorities, it seems almost cruel to cover up such a great design with something that amounts to rubber insulation, although in this case the choice between style and substance is a no brainer.
The Apple CEO did reiterate that the iPhone would spread to other countries this month. During the initial iPhone 4 announcement in June, Jobs had said Apple would ship to 18 additional countries in July. He amended that during Friday's conference to say that Apple would ship in 17 of those countries; South Korea was removed from the list, though Jobs didn't give a reason as to why. Still on the docket for July are Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, and Switzerland, with 24 more countries to come in August and 40 more in September.
